The beauty that surrounds us
I am always in awe as I set foot outside & drink in all that is before us.
The sweet song that the beautiful little bird perched in the tree branches offers.
The squirrels and chipmunks playfully chasing each other in a game of tag as the soft, gentle bunnies hop through the clover.
The majestic ducks & geese glide above & come to a graceful landing in the sparkling lake.
The leaves on the trees rustling in the breeze as the new scent of growth is around you.
A seemingly endless pallette of colors that streak through the sky & are sprinkled on the petals and leaves of the flowers and trees. Colors so vibrant and dense that artists are forever trying to capture this beauty in their brushstrokes.
With all this beauty before us, I wonder how could there not be hope? May the peace of today be yours forever.
